SCV will be exhibiting at the Sound & Vision show, in room 430 of the Bristol Marriott City Centre Hotel, this 26th, 27th and 28th of February. This year we'll have new products from Fostex, show casing the £7499 HP-V8 valve headphone amplifier, alongside the mk2 versionof the prolific TH900 headphones. Last but not least the HP-A4 DAC and balance headphone amp will be on demo. You can also check out Fostex headphones, alongside many others, in the Chord Electronics room. Our newest brand - Questyle Audio Engineering – will have their ‘giant killing’ DAP the QP1r on hand. Probably the best sounding player for the money available. It’s also beautifully made! There’s much more from Questlye on top. The complete high-end Golden series DAC, headphone amp and pre-amp will be hooked up and also the eagerly anticipated, feature packed, CMA600i DAC/headphone amp, priced at only £989inc VAT As a centre piece we will have two identical Benchmark Media Systems HRAs set up – DAC2 HGC, AHB2 amp and SMS1 speakers. One system will be on IsoAcousitcs stands, the other will not. So, you can not only hear the amazing high definition sound of the complete Benchmark system but also experience the unmistakable improvement using an IsoAcousitcs stand can provide – it really is a no brainer for the money. Hooked up to the HP-V8 valve amplifier will be the Bricasti M1 ‘special edition’ DAC.
