Sharman multiCOM Ltd is the corporate trading name of “Sharman’s” the name and brand well known in the trade since 1971. We originally started out in 1971 as Sharman’s Wholesale, cash & carry wholesale distributor supplying consumer electronic and household products to market traders and shops all over the UK and Ireland.
Then in 1979 the company changed direction by getting involved in communication products when CB radio was first gained popularity in the UK market. We were one of the first companies selling CB radios and accessories in the UK – and we are still one of the main companies selling CB Radio in Europe.
Then in 1999 the communications developed further with the liberalisation of the two-way radio market with the introduction of PMR446 licence exempt two-way radios – to reflect the change in the company product range Sharman Wholesale was dissolved and Sharman multiCOM ltd was formed to distribute a full and complete range of two-way radio products for the Hobby and Professional market.
Today we at Sharman multiCOM Ltd are totally focused on sourcing and distributing radio communications products for our specialist dealers, radio installers, independent retailers, catalogue companies, larger online traders and large high street store groups.
We have also introduced over the last ten years a growing range of automotive accessories covering 12v/24v products and other automotive novelty items for the professional / commercial truck market and the 4x4 leisure market.
We sell not only though out the UK & Ireland, but also many other countries through-out the world.
