TeleScribe Marking Systems

Bailey Caravans, based in Bristol UK, were looking for a low noise, lightweight, and quick marking system to produce seventeen character VINs split over two lines on their full range of caravan chassis. Baileys approached Telesis to provide a custom hand-held marking system which could be loaded to a chassis rail by hand, clamped into position, and left to mark the chassis VIN. Telesis suggested the TeleScribe® SC2000/470 marking system with custom location tooling. As an improvement over their existing marking system, the VIN would now be produced in a barcode on their build sheet allowing the operator to simply scan the VIN directly into the TMC470 controller.
