The Chamber has been developed for material testing including impact and Tensile/compression test over an extended range of temperatures from –100 to +300 degrees C.
The Chamber is available in a range of sizes and is designed to fit into existing Impact and tensile testers with top and bottom ports for push/pull shafts foe tensile work or a pneumatic operated sliding door for use in conjunction with impact testers with operation synchronised to the machine operation.
Cold temperatures are created by liquid nitrogen and heating via specially constructed heating elements.
The Chamber is available with temperature control for heating and cooling or via external control,
Over and under temperature Chamber limits are independently monitored and controlled and test specimen temperature can also be monitored and displayed.
For ease of use the Chamber is mounted on guide rails and can be fitted or removed in a very short period of time.
