Topline Emergency Response

25-08-2016

When one of the busiest swimming pools in North Kent floods into its own plant room, at the start of the Christmas holidays, the Local Authority needs to rely on their contractors to get to everything repaired, dried out, cleaned up and the pool back open again without delay. And so when a balance tank float valve failed last week, Topline became a major link in a chain, working with the Local Authorities leisure operator and their M&E contractor, and took just two working days to replace the failed 10” balance tank float valve and isolation valve, ensuring the works were carried out quickly, safely and included all the necessary supporting H&S RAMS. Using commercial divers to plug off the sumps, our service engineers drained the balance tank and remove the failed valves, while the back office sourced replacement valves. The engineers returned to replace the valves and reinstall the pipework. A positive outcome to a serious breakdown. This is the service that Topline offer to all our customers. If a pool is out of use it is losing money, disappointing customers and putting the owners business at risk. Topline understand these fundamentals, and work to ensure that problems are fully resolved and pools are back up and running in the event of an unforeseen failure.
