The Totalpost team are proud to announce that once again we have decided to sponsor Barton Rovers Royals under 15’s new football kit! Barton Rovers Football Club provides football coaching, training and competitive youth football for boys and girls within the Reading, and Berkshire area. This new kit will last the boys up to two years and through to the end of youth football. The old kit will be packed away and sent to a charity located in a African village. “This sponsorship will help the team out massively, as without a kit they cannot play! Getting sponsors for children’s football is one of the most difficult things to do, as companies are not interested in spending money when there is nothing in it for them” – Glenn Lewis, Service & Training Manager at Totalpost. Glenn Lewis, Service and Training Manager at Totalpost Services Plc has been a manager at Barton Rovers F.C. for over 9 years, and is the under 11’s and under 15’s Manager. Both his sons currently attend the club. Glenn’s personal connection with the club, means he can see first-hand how Totalpost is helping children to keep active, and develop their social skills. The Barton Rovers Football Club was established in 1982 and is one of the largest youth football clubs in Reading with over 250 registered players. They have a reputation for fair play, sportsmanship, good organisation and the development of youth soccer. They have also represented in the BOBi League, Berkshire County Girls Football League, East Berks Football Alliance, Peter Houseman Youth League, and many more! Lastly Glenn Lewis had one final thing to say: “I want to thank David (Managing Director at Totalpost) for sponsoring the team many times over the last 9 years, even though they are at the other end of the country!
