Single Phase Filters

This Phase-angle controllers generate Radio Frequency Interference during each half-cycle of mains waveform when the power is switched on. In sensitive applications this interaction with other equipment it must be suppressed to comply with the Electromagnetic Compatibility Regulations 1992. Appropriate suppression can be achieved by addition of series choke and capacitor network incorporated with a filter module.
