W3PhBTL - 3-Phase Breakout Test Lead for EV Diagnostics and Test. The W3PhBTL has been specifically designed to enable technicians to quickly conduct diagnostics and tests on the 3-Phase circuit wiring connected to the motor and generator of an Electric Vehicle (EV) or Plug in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV).  This breakout lead is designed to connect to connectors used in Mitsubishi hybrid vehicles.  Use of this breakout test lead removes the requirement to gain access to the 3-Phase cables through screening braid and the need to make good the damage after the testing.  Using this lead will save approximately 1 hour of that work. Conduct fast and safe testing of electric motor and generator stator windings Connect in-line as a breakout test lead. No need to damage 3-Phase cable screening to gain access to the wiring. Safely measure current of each phase with a 3-Phase inductive tester.   Simple operation Simply disconnect the vehicle 3-Phase cable at the motor/ generator and insert the breakout lead in-line and reconnect it.  Use the now accessible breakout leads to make your measurements using current clamps.  Voltage testing can also be carried out using magnetic test connections and the nut terminals as the test points.
