WIPT-16 Wire Insulation Long Piercing Tap

Warwick WIPT-16 Wire Insulation Long Piercing Taps  An insulation piercing probe designed to 'tap' on to wires up to 2mm in diameter.  The WIPT/16 is the longer version of the WIPT/2 at 165mm in length.  This length can also be increased up to a maximum of 660mm by the use of WEPT extension rods for when wires are difficult to reach to make a connection. Simply inset the wire under test into the jaws of the wire tap and screw down the end to force the wire on to the bed of nails. This will pierce the insulation and make contact with the internal conductor. Extremely robust product that will give many years of life.  Perfect for alarm installers/ engineers, locksmiths, telecoms engineers and automotive technicians. Image above shows difference in length of the WIPT/16 and WIPT/2. The end of the wire tap accepts a standard 2mm banana plug. Available in 2 colours. Other colours can be manufactured to order but there will be an MoQ.
