EC apprentice Thomas Shadwell receives an Outstanding Achievment Award

Congratulations to our PCB assembly apprentice technician Thomas Shadwell, who received an Engineering Apprentice ( Electrical ) Outstanding Achievement award at the recent Basingstoke College of Technology STEM Academy ‘ Celebration of Success 2013 ‘ ceremony.Tony Mount, EC’s Group Operations Director comments:‘ Thomas has demonstrated his commitment over the past 20 months to attend his college course and complete his apprenticeship with us. His Outstanding Achievement Award recognises this and is fully deserved. We are confident he will complete his apprenticeship in 2014 and continue his development as a valued member of our PCB Assembly department. ‘ BCOT completed a £3m investment programme in the building and facilities available at their Worting Road campus in 2012 which included an overhaul of the STEM subjects ( Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths ). BCOT is recognised as a Centre of Excellence for Technolgy and has extensive and firmly established links with industry in the region
