Based in Sussex, Howard Eaton Lighting Ltd or HELL as we are known by many of our clients, is a small dynamic company run by people with backgrounds in theatre and industrial lighting, engineering, electronics and software.

Our creative tean designs, produces and supplies innovative solutions to the "impossible" problems of the entertainment industry throughout the world. Activity centres around custom projects, from initial consultancy through design, build and final installation. We also have a growing range of products which has evolved from such work.

For our company, diversity is a key element in the continued success of our operation; from designing and building the car for the West End Musical “Chitty Chitty Bang Bang” to the installation of lighting for the Imperial War Museum North. Activities have ranged from the automation of Canons for Nelson’s Victory experience to sequenced pyrotechnic “coups de theatre” and animated fibre displays.

Working extremely closely with Lighting and Scenic designers to produce specialist lighting equipment and effects for stage and television productions, and with Architects and Consultants for major new projects and renovations.

Our experts have the facilities and skills for fabrication and machining of almost any materials, vacuum forming, electrical design and manufacture, pcb design and assembly, and software development, allowing us to respond to a wide variety of “specials" requirements, often at very short notice.
