New air coil winding machine - high volume

NDE have invested in a new fully automated air coil winding machine. Capable of working with wire diameters from 0.1mm to 2.5mm the machine will wind the coil, strip the wire enamel as required and then form the leads to the desired position. The inner diameter of the coil, number of turns, pitch of the turns, length of leads, length of stripped wire and the forming of the leads are all programmable. Depending on the type and configuration of the coil the machines capacity is around 10,000 coils in an 8 hour period. The coil leads are tinned with solder in a separate process. These types of coil have many applications but are widely used for tuning purposes in RF circuits and equipment. We'd be pleased to provide samples for any new coils you may be developing.
