Growing demand for ROLEC’s HMI touch screen enclosures has not lessened the popularity of its conTROL housings (rated IP 66 and IP 67), which remain a trusted choice for button and switch-based control systems.

These diecast aluminium enclosures come with built-in EMC shielding and are primarily designed for machine control in demanding industrial settings. However, their robust construction also makes them well suited to a wide variety of other electronics applications.

A key feature of the conTROL range is its integrated EMC shielding, which eliminates the need for costly and fragile conductive gaskets. Instead, effective shielding is achieved through a patented tooth system that creates continuous contact between the lid and the base.

The lid includes a deep recess that offers protection for buttons, switches and other control components. Inside the enclosure, threaded screw bosses allow for straightforward installation of PCBs, mounting plates or terminal rails.

The conTROL series is available in four standard sizes, ranging from 84.8 x 129 x 55 mm to 85 x 180 x 78 mm, making it easy to retrofit or replace existing enclosures. The standard finish is pebble grey (RAL 7032), with custom colours available on request.

Optional accessories include installation kits, hinges, lid supports, external mounting brackets, mounting plates, supporting rails, and an anti-corrosion coating in azure blue (RAL 5009).
